Editorial Report published at The Sunday Times Travel Magazine
Visiting the Costa del Sol brings you face to face with a rich cultural heritage. It’s beautiful scenery, fabulous beaches, delicious cuisine, traditions and customs, stunning coastlines and charming white villages make it the preferred destination for northern European tourists.
The Costa del Sol enjoys a beautiful climate with an average year-round temperature of 19°C and over 300 sunny days per year. Starting in the 1950s the rise of international tourism has seen a great influx of foreigners, mainly British, German, Scandinavian and French, and as a result there has been a strong economic and population growth.
This editorial report was published in 2004 in The Sunday Times Travel Magazine together with a documentary enclosed in a DVD.
